Viewing Album:  TCRY heads to Hanford

Album Info:The Tri-City and Olympia Railroad rarely operates north of Richland, WA onto the Hanford site since their inception as the operator of the former DOE southern rail connection. Activities this week required two trips north, through the Columbia Generating Station nuclear power plant facility, to retrieve a low-level radiation shipment from the 200 West area. A separate trip occured on July 28 as TCRY delivered a specialized shipping container on a DODX car. Pictures were taken with permission of the TCRY along public access and/or secured locations with correct credentials.
